Sint-Pieters railway station, Ghent

Performing glass construction works in a train station requires more work than meets the eye. You must be able to guarantee travellers’ safety, work in various stages, etc. Starconstruct developed technical solutions for the glazed floors, glazed platform canopies, glazed railings and wind shields, glazed platform equipment (such as the benches, lifts and waiting rooms), the glazed light-emitting walls in the bicycle parking facilities and the station’s large glazed rear façade. We are particularly proud of this project: we can regard one of the busiest railway stations in Belgium as our largest showroom.
