JURYS INN HOTEL Cork
How do you design a façade and a staircase at the entrance, so that maximum light reaches the aisles between the hotel rooms? A prominent foreign-national architect instructed by Jurys hotel chain called on us with that question. We responded by developing glazed buttresses that were attached only to the ceiling – and did not reach the floor. When a panel was broken a few years later, we discovered the cause on site and provided a solution. The client was enormously appreciative of our service and again entrusted us with other projects.
