The architect wanted to create a three-dimensional depth picture for the façade of the new rectorate building. He wanted to do this by applying stratification in the façade, which was composed of textile cloth and glass panels. Starconstruct developed various glass samples and eventually opted for a glass construction in green-coloured glass combined witha green screenprintedpattern. The glass panels were up to 6m long, in various levels of depth and a special rear structure. The project was technically challenging and immediately catches one’s attention along the Hasselt inner ring road.
